What a busy few weeks. Time is flying by as usual. The first pitcure is my FAVORITE OF SADIE EVER!!!!! I had it blown up and will be framing it to hang on our wall.
Dallas Cowboy Season in upon us and as you can see.....Sadie is enjoying herself. She wears her jersey fo revery game and when it is bedtime, she cries and says GO FOOTBALL!! :-)
Sadie got her first potty. Daddy and Mommy took her to Toys R Us and she picked out an Elmo set. She still just pulls off the diaper and pees on the floor, but hey! We are just starting!
Sadie loves her new bunny slippers her Daddy bought for her and she is showing them off in the pictures. She loves to brush her teeth and she HAS TO HAVE two toothbrushes or the world will come to an end!
LuLu comes November 7th! YEAH!!!! Countdown is on.....
Amy's MSN is coming along.....4 classes down....4.0 GPA :-) Probably won't last though! Amy is getting tired.
Stay tuned......

Vimeo and Updates
More Vimeo's! Thanks to Thomas....:-)
http://vimeo.com/6773811
Amy is still hacking away school one class at a time. MSN completion date February 2011. Seems like forever....but sure it will fly by! Amy still works at the baby factory in town (Candler Hospital) and as an instructor for Savannah Tech. Amy has been on Synthroid now for about three months and is beginning to feel better!
Tom is enjoying his two soccer leauges and taking care of Sadie while Mommy is doing homework.
Sadie is awesome. She now hops with both feet in the air and tells me "Hush, Amy. Sit down!" when I yell at her. Yes...she now calls me Amy and has for about three weeks now. In the mornings she yells from her crib, "I up, Amy!" I cringe from the safety of my bed.....
We have a few trips planned as usual.....Thanksgiving is out to Omaha for a week, and then for New Years and into January, we will be in Florida for a family wedding (Tom's side). While we are there, we will be taking Sadie to Disney World. Very EXCITED. We will do breakfast with the characters as well as Mickey's Toon Town for Toddlers in Magic Kingdom. Grandpa and Grandma Kern will be there are well! Tom's parents have rented a home for the trip and it has a pool. I know Sadie will LOVE that!
For Christmas this year, hopefully Papa and Bapshi will be coming down form CT....:-) Sadie's first Christmas last year was not as planned with her hospital stay and all...so we are going to make up for it this year...we are going ALL out! Can you say GRISWOLD FAMILY CHRISTMAS!?? LOL
Great Grandma, Sadie's LuLu is moving down! YEAH! She signed a one year lease with Amy's younger brother Jeffrey and they can move in the second week of October. LuLu is 83 years old and doing just fine, thank you very much! SHe says what keeps her going is her sweet Sadie and she is looking forward to watching her. Tom and I will enjoy the dates nights as well....:-)
More to come in the next few months.....

VIMEO
A while back, my brother and sister in law started using this program called Vimeo to post videos of my absolutely ADORABLE nephew Johnny. Since they live in Cali, we are in GA, and his parents are in NE....it was the perfect way for everyone to see our kids growing.
After much influencing from Granparents...:-)........Tom has taken on his own sort of "blog" with The Kern Family Vimeo Page. Check it out!

OAR
The year is 2000. Thomas and Amy are attending Lynchburg College in VA. A little known "college" band named O.A.R. has a song out that only the the coolest kids listen and sing to at the top of their lungs at frat parties at 3am. Fast forward 9 years; through 6 concerts (including several FREEBIES at local small college auditoriums).....to the year 2009. O.A.R unfortunately has become a little more mainstream and a few songs have hit the radio. Great for the success of the band, I am sure they are richer now! But not so great for that intimate feeling we had years ago listening to the greatest live band ever! Anyway....this concert in Daniel's Island in Charleston, SC was another awesome one. Besides.....the true O.A.R. fans know what Hey Girl, 3am and Poker are all about!! :-)

CONNECTICUT
update.......
Papa and Bapshi came down in July and we had a great time with them. We enjoyed using their hotel pool with Sadie and we had a GREAT time going out to dinner. (i pretended it was Bapshi's birthday and she got dessert and barbecue sauce...LOL....it was hysterical!)
Tom is still enjoying soccer. He plays on two leagues...YMCA and SuperGoose.

Sadie is growing like a weed. She can sing Frera Jacques completely in French word for word. AS well as her ABC's, Row Row Row Your Boat, AND Itsy Bitsy Spider. She is a genious I tell you! She is 19 months old. She counts to five and can count by two's up to eight. Her DR says to keep her engaged and don't let her get bored! Tom and I are going to order that My Baby Can Read system and get her reading. It is an amazing system. Children can read at 11 months old. It is truly something to see and hear!
I still work part time at the hospital and am still a clinical instructor for a local college here in Savannah; which I IMMENSELY love doing!! I like the money too! (cant lie)
LuLu went back to MA this past week. Man, do we miss her like CRAZY! Can't wait till her big move down here in October! She will be the offical Sadie Sitter. LuLu and Sadie are so tight, it's precious to see them together! While she was down here, our family back up north may have suspected us trying to "off" her! LOL She fell, got shingles, and was seen in the ER twice! What an unlucky three months!
Just got back from CT for my best friend Alison's wedding! She married an amazing man named Matt and I hope they have LOTS OF BABIES! :-) It was a gorgeous New England summer day.....the whole trip itself was amazing.....I wish I lived there SOO BAD! :-( We stopped by my Grandfather's grave, ate at our fav place Friendly's, hung out at LuLu's, saw Tuff Man Scoop, went shopping for polish pottery, etc etc etc.
I have also started my MSN which is going smoothly so far. A little stressful at times, but can't wait for it to be over with! I just keep reminding myself it will be SOOOO worth it!
ENJOY THE PICTURES! I know you will!
